...made of flecks of light...
Of Last Night

Danielle and I had a date night last night… I gave her her Pagan Holiday Day present (because we are not going to really get to do anything together that is of any significance on the actual day due to our schedules).  I got her this necklace:

Because owls are kind of a thing with us…

Then, we went and ate at a local restaurant… she had a steak salad (that was HUGE… like… she only at a third of it maybe…) and I had what was essentially hunk of meats (ham, greek sausage, lamb) on alfredo angel hair.  YUM.

Then, we saw The Woman in Black.  Which… everyone and their mom (or boyfriend, rather) was going to see The Vow for some ungodly reason… BLECH.  Neither Danielle nor myself had any interest in this at all (I LOVE HER SO MUCH) So… scary movies/thrillers are something I love and hate at the same time… It’s hard to explain… I loved the film with a few tiny exceptions.  I thought it was very well done… not sure Radcliffe should have done anything involving a supernatural theme as his HP followup film… couldn’t help but think things like, “EXPECTO PATRONUS!” and “Don’t tear down that wall paper!  It’s going to be a love note from Dumbledore underneath!”  Still, very good… interested in reading the novel now… especially since I’m studying the Gothic in my American Romanticism class this semester.

Then we came home and snuggled for a while and stuff.

It was a wonderful, wonderful night.

Also, part of her gift to me, which she revealed, is her new ability to MAKE ANY FREAKING STYLE OF BOWTIE FROM SCRATCH.  I am about to get SOOOOO much more dapper.
