Against “The Worst Pies in London”? Def Worst Pies. It’s the song that introduced me to Sweeney Todd… which ultimately led me to choose a career, one way or another, in the theatre. LOVE Worst Pies in London… we get to know so much about Mrs. Lovett in such a short amount of time… ranging from things like her somewhat hidden viciousness to her chatterbox-like way of talking (which is one of the problems I have with HBC’s performance… your songs indicate you are lively and talkative… and a fast talker… yet your performance is…. like… this… )

Agreed on HBC. Also, maybe you noticed this as well, but her rendition of “Wait” was a little too breathy. I like her … acting wise. singing, not so much.
